Faith Christian Academy’s admission process is a mutual sharing of information to ensure the right fit between your family and the school.

Our admissions process has been designed to acquaint you with our school. We hope to provide opportunities for students and families to get to know the FAITH community better—and for us to become familiar with you.

Step 1 – Inquiry and Tour

We are excited you are considering Faith Christian Academy!  We are a private, K4-12th grade Christ centered school located in Wausau, Wisconsin. Here at FAITH, we prepare students for individualized success. Our vision is to create lifelong learners who do all things with excellence. We provide exceptional academics, small class sizes, spiritual development, leadership opportunities, and talented faculty to help students become critical thinkers and leaders for Christ for a global community.

To be considered for Admissions to Faith Christian Academy, all prospective families are required to reserve an Inquiry orientation.  During your Inquiry orientation, parent(s)/guardian(s) and prospective student(s) will meet with our school Administrator, Mr. Clint Steinke or Principal, Mr. Zach Zebro to tour our campus and discuss educational, spiritual, and philosophical expectations.  If both, family and school confirm FAITH Christian Academy to be a good fit after your visit, you may begin our application process.

Step 2 – Application

Our receipt of your completed application and application fee starts your Admissions file.  A copy of previous school records/transcripts and immunizations must be sent to the FAITH main office. The application includes opportunities for parents/guardians to give a brief testimony of faith and read and sign our “Statement of Faith”. Please complete the admissions inquiry form to obtain application materials and tuition rates. The application window closes August 1st for the 2024-25 school year.

A complete Admissions Application includes: a completed Online Application, a signed Statement of Faith, and brief testimony of faith written by parent(s)/guardian(s).  Along with the application, please include the student’s recent school records, conduct reports, transcripts, a copy of their current immunization records, and a copy of their birth certificate.

For the school to properly review a candidate’s application, we must have the latest official transcript from the students’ current school. Transcripts from all previous schools are required, including report cards, standardized test scores, and results of any psychological evaluation, including IEP and 504. Most schools require parental permission to release an official transcript to Faith Christian Academy.

Step 3 – Student Placement Assessment

To ensure proper grade placement and readiness, each student will engage in a student placement assessment. These assessment results help us gauge potential for academic success and to aide in course placement. Student placement assessments are approximately one hour in length.

Step 4 – Final Interview

After testing is complete a final interview is set between the family and Administration. At this interview, test results are reviewed.  During this time, Middle and High School students will discuss scheduling of classes. We will discuss payment options for your tuition and fees. An enrollment packet must be completed to finalize admission.

Step 5 – Complete Enrollment Packet (and voucher application if applicable)
