Testimony
At the age of 14 I remember going with some friends to youth group at New Hope Community Church. I was presented with the idea of needing Jesus Christ in my life for eternal life. I grew up knowing who God was and who Jesus was but had never comprehended that I needed a savior for my sins. In October of 1997, I dedicated my life to Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. It was not an easy process, and still is not as there are peaks and valleys that I can identify throughout the course of my walk with the Lord. Fortunately the Bible discusses the endurance needed to run the race well.
In college my faith turned from an internal relationship to an external expression. I met up with other guys with the same beliefs and desires: to “go and make disciples.” So we started evangelizing in Stevens Point proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ. What I realized, looking back on this time is that evangelizing the Gospel of Christ is about building relationships with people and showing Christ through actions (not just words).
I was married to a wonderful women of the Lord in 2007 who is the epitome of Proverbs 31:10-31. Together we have three children: Jayda, Carson and Kendyl. As a family our goal is to know Christ and make him known as The Way, The Truth and The Life. We are actively involved in serving in Youth Group, Children’s Church, and various other church family activities. We love the Church and specifically the people associated with it.
Our family has felt called to this position and are excited to see God work on us and through us. This is not about our testimonies but rather glorifying God in what we do here at Faith Christian Academy. We rely on His grace and mercy as we continue to sin. He continues to be sovereign.
Church
We are members of Immanuel Baptist Church in Rib Mountain where we serve as Youth Leaders and in the Children’s Church ministry.
