Mrs. Wendi Boehnen

I began following Jesus Christ as a college student at UWSP, where he surrounded me with amazing fellowship and encouragement and a deep desire to know him more. He’s taken me on quite a journey in life so far, from getting to introduce teenagers to the love of Jesus in the ministry of Young Life here in Wisconsin, to 5 years teaching social studies at a Christian school in Florida, to working with college aged students back here in Wisconsin at Fort Wilderness, where I met my husband Nathan, which led to my role as a wife and mom of three beautiful people. My next step in this life adventure is getting the privilege to teach here at FCA – I am so grateful to be part of the FCA family both as a school parent and faculty member! I enjoy reading and listening to podcasts — there are not many things in life to learn about that I don’t find fascinating! As cliche as it may seem, one of my favorite authors is CS Lewis. “”The Chronicles of Narnia”” make me laugh, cry, and long for Jesus to make everything new, and reading the series again with my kids was a joy. I can’t pass up good coffee, Coldstone ice cream, Chick-fil-a, or a quality roller coaster (even if it makes me a little sick). I also love getting a good run in – friends always welcome!
