Bio
There are so many things I love about Christian education. For example, the endless surprises of God’s revealed plans imbedded in history, in the sciences, in mathematics and art. You can continue to learn more, dive deeper and yet never exhaust the amazing truths of the Creator.
I feel honored to see how God creates and gifts each child differently, to help them share their strengths with those around them and work through the struggles of growing and learning new things.
My “favorite subject” is always the one I’m doing right now! However, I have a passion for the arts: including music and dance. When not at school you may find me: with my family, often out-of-doors; playing volleyball, pickelball or doing Zumba; playing board games or painting something.
Testimony
From a young age, I have held a steadfast belief in an all-powerful Creator God and His son, Jesus, who came to live among us and die for our sins. This belief was solidified in second grade through my church’s programming when I accepted the gift of salvation and began my personal relationship with Jesus.
My camp and missions work, especially in the High School season, really provided opportunities for growth and allowed me to witness how God can use us to touch the lives of others. I have often been called to serve families with little ones and in children’s ministry. As I move past the half-century mark, I realize even more greatly how much I need Him each day, each hour, each minute.
Christian Education helps me to stay immersed in seeking Him and the revelations of His grace, power, and majesty; to be continually surprised by God’s goodness, beauty and sense of humor! The more we learn about Him and study His creation the more in awe we become.
