I was raised in a Christian household and came to know Christ at age 4. My brother was a very instrumental part in that decision since he was the one who pushed me to put my faith in God. From then on, I continued to go to church, youth group, and camps that helped me further grow and understand my relationship with Him. One of the most eye opening experiences of my life was a missions trip to the Dominican Republic. To be able to focus all of my energy on helping and supporting others in the name of Christ was life changing. I hope to be able to go on more missions trips in the future because the experience was truly one of my best memories.

I have worked with kids for years now whether through church, camps, or former jobs. I’ve always loved being able to get to grow relationships with them and answer and questions they may be wrestling with. To work in Christian education is a blessing because in the past I was not allowed to share my faith with the children I worked with. I could always try to set an example through my conduct but it’s so freeing to just be able to share it with them.
