Ms. Sarah Carlson

I grew up loving God but not understanding freedom in Christ. I kept trying to be “good enough”. After college, I taught 8 years in public school (grades 4-8, various subjects). It wasn’t until after I was married (and received/read a NIV Bible) that I gave my life to Jesus. I was given the free gift of salvation and finally felt/knew God’s grace and mercy. At that point, I was a 6th grade teacher, looking for ways to shine and share the love of Christ with everyone!

Since then, the Lord has walked beside me through various trials, storms, and joys. Some highlights include the blessing of four unique (and wonderfully made) children, consistent provision, and sweet friends/family. The Lord has also allowed and gifted me with many life experiences such as homeschooling, subbing, health and family matters, and travel. I am amazed and thankful that through it all, the Lord continues to hold, love, and walk beside me and my family. God is good! God is faithful! We can rest and trust in Jesus.

Last spring, I felt the Lord tugging at my heart to go back to full-time teaching. Looking forward to seeing the Lord’s continual Hand and provision in all of our lives!
